The first post... (not a test!)

So yes, I have finally given up on the website as a medium for news postings etc. I will, however still use it to host images and other things that really aren't news. I do have the feeling though, that it is going to slowly fade away... The archives of course are still gold... so go read them when you are bored.

Let's see, it's been quite a while since I've posted news of anything so I have a lot of filling in to do (not really... my life isn't that exciting. So school is over and I kicked this last quarter's ass...sort of. I pulled a B+ in Calc III (wooh!) and a B in my CPE 103 (mind you she didn't curve and the tests were killer). I scored A's in both the GE classes I took. So yeah a 3.575 if you were wondering :)

This year truly did go amazingly fast. I have a feeling that they only get faster. Now that it's summer, I've basically done a lot of sleeping and being lazy and not enough having a job...because I don't have a job.... I really really really need a job... got one for me? (you have to pay me...money...) I've also been doing a lot of hanging out with the friends, cousins, and neighbours. Definately good stuff.

So yeah, I can't wait to see Fahrenheit 9/11 hopefully tomorrow night. Check out my new favorite picture.

Yeah, for all of you who hate Moore that's just fine. He doesn't ascribe to be fair and he knows he has an agenda, but hey he has the balls to stand up for the liberal cause, something which very few seem to have. He's also very good at presenting and backing up facts, though his liberal (no pun?) use of editing and juxtaposing is quite obvious sometimes. Anyways, I think everyone should at least see the movie, decide for themselves, then talk about the issues! It makes me sick that some people try to ban things like this. I mean what are you afraid of if you are so confident you are right about things? I love this country because it was founded on checks and balances, on constant criticism of the status quo, on the distrust of giving full power to any one body. Moore's films serve as a check, now it's up to us to do the balance.

Well that's it for the first post. Hopefully now that it's much easier to update, I will be more inspired to do so...
