Relay for Life '04

The Relay for Life is really a great event. It's for a great cause and it's as fun as you make it i.e. The more you complain about things the worse off you will be and the less fun you will have. That said it may have been cold, moist, and uncomfortable mixed with lots of tiredness, an emcee who was perhaps the most annoying man alive, and people (read EVERYONE) trying to sell all kinds of things (the proceeds which were to be donated) but I still had fun. I mean we did it for a great cause. All the money we raised and all the money we spent there goes towards research and education. It was a great event. Check out the pictures.

So yeah, I definately want to do it again next year, perhaps even start the fundraising a bit earlier. Lastly, if you're confused about what the Relay for Life is check out their website. Our relay was 24 hours. I must have walked at least 15 miles. Nothing makes you feel like an old man more than being sore from walking :P
