I just got home from seeing Hotel Rwanda. It was amazingly powerful, intense, and very well done. I highly recommend it. It's amazing and disturbing that things such as this happen in the world and it really really makes you think about the macro vs the micro view of things. ie you hear about things on the news in 5 minute snippets, but it just doesn't affect you personally so it's not as big of a deal, but then if you really see what's going on, really have personal accounts of things, you are affected by the humanity of it all. I really don't know what to say and it feels like what I'm saying doesn't fully capture the feeling... I'm still kind of decompressing. Perhaps I'll have more to say later at another time. But yes. Go see the movie and I think you'll understand.
