Proper Propaganda - Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11 is unfair and outrageous. You got a problem with that? By David Edelstein:
"Fahrenheit 9/11 must be viewed in the context of the Iraq occupation and the torrent of misleading claims that got us there. It must be viewed in the context of Rush Limbaugh repeating the charge that Hillary Clinton had Vince Foster murdered in Fort Marcy Park, or laughing off the exposure of Valerie Plame when, had this been a Democratic administration, he'd be calling every day for the traitor's head. It must be viewed in the context of Ann Coulter calling for the execution of people who disagree with her. It must be viewed in the context of another new documentary, the superb The Hunting of the President, that documents—irrefutably—the lengths to which the right went to destroy Bill Clinton. Moore might be a demagogue, but never—not even during Watergate—has a U.S. administration left itself so open to this kind of savaging."
Uh oh... what will our children think now? Cheney drops the F-Bomb... not a big deal, but still funny that he lost his cool
CNN.com - Cheney says he felt better after cursing at Leahy - Jun 25, 2004:
"Sources who related the incident to CNN said the vice president had told Leahy either 'f--- off' or 'go f--- yourself.'"
Weird... but cool....
Berlin Mutant Boy Extra Strong | Science & Technology | Deutsche Welle | 25.06.2004:
"He's not quite Superman, but a genetic mutation has given a Berlin five-year-old muscles twice the size of other kids his age and about half the body fat."
And lastly, I leave you with some 'good' news care of TheOnion:
The Onion | Coalition: Vast Majority Of Iraqis Still Alive:
"'As the Coalition's rule draws to a close, the numbers show that we have an awful lot to be proud of,' Bremer said Tuesday. 'As anyone who's taken a minute and actually looked at the figures can tell you, the vast majority of Iraqis are still alive—as many as 99 percent. While 10,000 or so Iraqi civilians have been killed, pretty much everyone is not dead.""
