Poly Gras?

So Mardi Gras was just as I expected. A big nothing this year. I ended up going to a little party on Friday night and just staying in on Saturday night. The police presence was insane. Seriously there were usually more police on the street than there were civilians. It really did feel like some sort of marshall law had been declared. Other than that, the police were actually a lot nicer than last year. This is probably due to the fact that they were well prepared and better armed then last year. But yeah they did seem a bit more friendly even if there was a group of them at every street corner staring you down.
